Even in today’s market, you need a game plan to sell your house, so work with an agent who has a good one. After all, if no one knows your home is for sale, no one will come to buy it.
The next thing you should do is stage your home correctly. Take down personal items that might distract the buyer from your home and get rid of any clutter.
Finally, price your home according to the market and price it aggressively. Buyers are smart. They’re looking at your house and other homes available to them in that price range, so they can tell when a home is priced correctly. Even in this hot market, you have to price your home according to what the market will bear. Price not only indicates what someone can buy the house for, it also indicates how motivated they are to sell the home.
